If you have followed my blog for the past few years, you know how I feel about deodorant with aluminum. I have been on the search for the perfect natural deodorant for a few years now. With all of them that I have tried, you would think something would work, right? A few have come very close to meeting my needs but honestly, by the end of the day, I still had that “funk” smell. Until now…
I haven’t written about my Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD) in a long time. Well, I haven’t written on my blog in a very long time, for that matter. I have been busy with my Young Living Essential Oils business along with being a stay at home mom of 2 and homeschooling them. So, to say I am overwhelmed sometimes is an understatement.
Have you heard of Thieves essential oil yet? I had heard the name before starting our Young Living Essential Oils journey but did not know too much about this oil.
A few weeks ago, my good friend, Martha, called to ask me some great questions about how we have changed our eating habits over the past few years. She wanted to know where to start on her journey. I had to stop and think about this.
Last weekend, we had a potential new babysitter over to meet our kids and us. She was very nice and asked a lot of great questions about the kids. She asked us if they have any food allergies (no, but they do have food intolerances to gluten and dairy which many people have but don’t realize. My intolerances were misdiagnosed as Irritable Bowel Syndrome). She was really curious about our holistic lifestyle and asked a lot of questions about what we eat, where we shop for our food, about our essential oils and diffuser and about our Tyent water ionizer.
This is one of my favorite meals right now with it being so cold outside. It is a great crock pot meal that can last two to three days and seems to get even tastier the next day. I also love that it is so healthy for us with chicken (we use organic chicken without any antibiotics), organic beans and veggies. You really can’t go wrong with this one!
Welcome to our Essential Oil Blog Hop! We are so glad you’ve decided to join us!
There are so many chemicals in facial moisturizer nowadays. It is no wonder so many people have asthma, allergies, eczema, psoriasis. Many of these products say, “natural,” right on the packaging. But, if you look at the list of ingredients, you will find many that have chemicals in them that can cause skin irritation and wreak havoc on your body. With skin being our largest organ, it is important to treat it well and without chemicals.
One of my most re-pinned posts is my Basil Vinaigrette Salad Dressing. It is absolutely delicious and does not contain any chemicals like a lot of store-bought salad dressings do. Ever since we have been eating homemade salad dressing, I have a really hard time eating processed dressings. My palette has become very attune to detecting the chemical taste that a lot of store-bought brands contain.
I am so excited to be part of our first Young Living Essential Oils Blog Hop! Ever since my family and I started to use Young Living essential oils in October, 2013, I have been trying to make products with our oils. I know this is much better for our health and feel really great when I find a recipe that we can use.
Some like-minded ladies and I have been working together to offer you some awesome recipes you can use for your and your families and some are even great for Christmas gifts!
Starting our Young Living Essential Oil’s journey was truly the absolute best thing I have ever done for my family and I. We use the oils and our three diffusers (yes, I did say 3!) daily. We use them for everything and are teaching our children to use them, too. I am so excited about this because it is a great way for them to participate in their own health. When we get a headache, stomach ache, have sleep issues, psoriasis, breathing problems, coughs, flu, sore throat, cuts, scrapes, stuffy and runny nose, sciatic pain…pretty much anything that ails us, we reach for our oils.
