Welcome to our Essential Oil Blog Hop! We are so glad you’ve decided to join us!
There are so many chemicals in facial moisturizer nowadays. It is no wonder so many people have asthma, allergies, eczema, psoriasis. Many of these products say, “natural,” right on the packaging. But, if you look at the list of ingredients, you will find many that have chemicals in them that can cause skin irritation and wreak havoc on your body. With skin being our largest organ, it is important to treat it well and without chemicals.
When we started using Young Living Essential Oils last October, I was still using my daily facial moisturizer. I started using different oils with my moisturizer and started to really notice a difference in my skin’s appearance. Then, my moisturizer ran out and when I went to order more, I learned that is was discontinued.
So, that started my journey on finding a mixture of oils that agreed well with my skin type. I have pretty oily skin and it is acne prone around that time of the month. I had been trying a mixture of different oils to find the perfect one for my skin type. Then I read something about Patchouli being a great oil for oily skin. I ordered it and have not looked back since. It is amazing! I absolutely love it! I mix it with Elemi and coconut oil and voila!
Let me share this awesomeness with you!
♥ 1 4 Ounce Bell Canning Jar (I got mine at Ace Hardware store)
♥ 1/3 Cup Nutiva Organic Coconut Oil (I get this on Amazon)
♥ 15 Drops of Patchouli Oil
♥ 15 Drops of Elemi Oil
♥ 15 Drops of Melaleuca A Oil (if you tend to get acne)
Put coconut oil into a bowl and blend with a hand mixer on low until it is a creamy consistency. Add the oils and mix on low for another minute until mixed well. Put into Bell jar. Use in the am and pm for your facial moisturizer.
