In June I posted about Bubble and Bee’s Super Pit Putty stick deodorant. I kept using it after I wrote about it and got okay results. But, as the summer months went on and the heat rose, so did my body chemistry. So, once again I was on a search to find another natural deodorant that could keep up with me. Continue reading
Have you heard of colloidal silver? I learned about this powerful liquid about two years ago from a naturopath. Colloidal silver are tiny silver particles suspended in liquid. These particles are the same elemental silver as used in jewelry. True colloidal silver should contain more than 50% silver particles and less silver ions.

It’s that time of year again! All of the trees and flowers are blooming and wreaking havoc on those of us who suffer from seasonal allergies. When I attended massage therapy school 10 years ago, I started hearing about the devastating effects that antiperspirant deodorants can cause. Two years ago when my family and I went to see a naturopath, the doctor talked to me about switching my deodorant to one without aluminum right away.
Have you seen the, “Forks Over Knives” film yet? We got Netflix the other day (you can sign up for a 30-day trial for free) and I was so happy to see they had this documentary. I truly feel if everyone in the United States watched Forks Over Knives, and made some positive changes in their diet, heart disease, obesity, diabetes and many other diseases would be a thing of the past. I know this is a grandiose statement to make but I feel that this documentary hits the nail on the head with what is going on in the U.S. today and how we can make changes for the better.
Do you still use table salt like Morton table salt? You know the one – the girl with the yellow dress and purple umbrella walking in the rain? Yes, we all know that one! She is who we have all grown up with and is such a cute little girl, right? She may be cute but the product she represents does not do cute things to our body at all.
